For this assignment we were told to manipulate the sun to our advantage to create amazing shadows. This was achieved by physically moving our model into direct sunlight, casting shadows among their faces. This created a sort of Renaissance look, in the way that the sunlight would be coming in from the upper left, or right side, of the shot, therefore creating more depth, and ultimately a much stronger, and more visually pleasing final product. This particular project was somewhat hard because you cannot control the way the sunlight rises, or the way the clouds may block light from coming through at all.
